The Role
We are seeking an experienced part-time Paralegalwith solid family law support experience within private practice. You will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day management of files and providing direct support to the Principal Solicitor across a broad range of matters.
Experience in wills and estates and conveyancing will be highly regarded, as the practice services a diverse range of legal needs within the local community.
Working closely with the Principal Solicitor in a small, owner-operated firm, you will be responsible for legal research, drafting documents, file management, and general practice support. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable paralegal who enjoys varied work, takes initiative,
and is confident working both independently within a support capacity and collaboratively within a small team.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include file management, drafting correspondence and legal documents, client communication support, preparation of court and administrative documents, and general assistance across family law, conveyancing, and wills & estates matters.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing competing priorities, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be supporting clients through sensitive and often complex circumstances, so empathy, discretion, and a practical, solutions-focused approach are essential.
