About the role
We are seeking a self‑motivated and experienced electrical contractor to carry out maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, test and replace RCDs,
and complete other compliance services in residential properties. Work is primarily located in Canberra with travel to surrounding areas as required.
What to expect in the role
You will start your day from home to your first appointment, using our in‑house built app to track your bookings an record all the relevant job information. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary
What you’ll bring
- Electrical Contractors licence
- Valid driver’s licenceand willingness to travel
- Professional presentation and self‑motivated
- Strong customer and safety focus
- Familiar withsmart phonesapplications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre‑requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre‑employment Physical Assessment.
