About the role

The Ingham Institute is seeking an experienced and passionate Community EngagementManager to lead the development and implementation of a community engagement framework across our multi-site health and medical research institute in South West Sydney.

This initial 12-month fixed-term contract, working two days per week (0.4 FTE), offers a unique opportunity to shape how consumers and communities participate in and influence medical research.

In this newly established role, you will develop and embed an Institute-wide community engagement strategy that fosters meaningful consumer and community involvement in research. You will build strong partnerships with community groups, consumers, researchers and key stakeholders, creating sustainable engagement structures that ensure diverse community voices are represented and inform research priorities,

activities and outcomes.

Working collaboratively across the Institute, you will establish best-practice engagement processes, support the integration of community participation into research programs, and evaluate engagement initiatives to ensure their long-term success and transition into business-as-usual operations.

If you are passionate about community engagement, stakeholder relationship management and making a meaningful impact on health and medical research, we'd love to hear from you.

Solid project management skills, including establishing new programs, embedding sustainable practices and delivering outcomes.

Experience developing evaluation frameworks and reporting on program effectiveness and impact.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail, professionalism, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, show initiative, contribute to team objectives and embody the Ingham Institute's values.
