Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser Therapist

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse with cosmetic laser experience to join a well-established cosmetic medicine and skin clinic in Teneriffe.

We are looking for a confident, warm and highly organised nurse who is passionate about skin health, laser treatments and patient care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining clinical nursing skills with advanced laser, skin and aesthetic treatments.

You will work alongside an experienced cosmetic physician and a supportive clinical team in a professional, patient-focused environment.

About the Role

- Performing vascular laser and skin rejuvenation treatments within your training, licence and scope of practice
- Conducting comprehensive patient consultations and skin assessments
- Developing appropriate treatment plans based on patient concerns, skin type and clinical suitability
- Performing laser and light-based treatments safely and according to clinic protocols
- Assisting with prescribed cosmetic medical treatments
- Providing clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions
- Educating patients about treatment expectations, risks, aftercare and follow-up
- Taking accurate and consistent clinical before-and-after photographs
- Maintaining detailed, timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Monitoring treatment outcomes and patient progress
- Following infection-control, laser-safety and clinic proceduresSupporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
- Building professional and long-term relationships with patients

Experience with vascular laser, IPL, laser rejuvenation, acne treatments,



RF microneedling and skin resurfacing will be highly regarded.

Experience using Pico laser and resurfacing laser devices would be a strong advantage.

About You

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- A current Queensland laser licence covering vascular treatments and skin rejuvenation
- Previous hands‑on experience performing cosmetic laser or light-based treatments
- Strong consultation, skin-assessment and treatment-planning skills
- A sound understanding of laser safety, patient selection and treatment contraindications
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient safety
- High standards of clinical documentation and photography
- A professional, calm and compassionate manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, initiative and accountability
- The ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
- A genuine interest in cosmetic medicine, skin health and ongoing professional development

Experience with Pico laser, vascular laser, IPL, RF microneedling or laser resurfacing is highly desirable.

Previous experience in cosmetic medicine, dermatology, skin clinics, plastic surgery or a similar clinical environment will also be highly regarded.
