THE COMMITMENT

Part-time work, minimum of 15 hours per week for 18 months

Alternate Morning and Afternoon shifts:

Before School Care: 6.30am - 8.30am

After School Care: 2:30pm - 6:00pm

Based in Sandgate QLD 4017

- Provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
- Help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Ensure a safe, welcoming space where children can grow and learn
- Enforce safety guidelines to ensure a secure space for all
- You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn recent skills and build your career

ABOUT YOU





We're looking for someone aged 18-26* who is an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident and:

- Has empathy and emotional intelligence
- Is a reliable team player
- Is creative and adaptable

Mandatory Requirements:

To work in this role, you'll need to provide two work or professional references, plus hold (or be willing to get) a current Working With Children Check (or relevant state equivalent) and a Police Check. Y Careers makes it easy by covering the cost and helping you every step of the way.

The National Child Safety Training is an industry requirement for people working in ECEC and OSHC. While it's not required at application stage, interested candidates may choose to complete the free online training to learn more about child safe practices and working in the sector.
