About the role
We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Weston Creek, ACT and surrounding areas.
Part time and Casual positions available for suitable candidates.
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.
Skills and experience
Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Experience inECG's and Holter monitors
- Processing of Pathology Specimens
- Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.
- Clerical duties and Process paperwork
- Own car and current driver licence is required
- Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
- Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
- Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- Comply with Work Health and Safety
It is a requirement that a current working with children check clearance is provided upon commencement of employment.
