THE best news yet is we have an opportunity for an experienced Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems Operators to join our young enthusiastic company and make a difference.

You will become part of a close-knit, motivated team, your primary objective is to perform all relevant system operations required for STP, WTPs and irrigation fields in accordance to project scope. Duties involved are supporting installation, operations and servicing of various process types of biological wastewater treatment systems and process types of potable water treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor plant operations and assist in plant commissioning, optimisation, monitoring, recording and reporting on status or condition of plant and systems.
- Undertake first-line preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance duties as required.
- Deliver testing and inspections of assets to meet agreed service levels.
- Able to understand and navigate through various various systems on site
- Water sample potable water from sample points on a regular basis as per RWTS water quality management plans and in line with sampling SOP’s.
- Sample Wastewater Treatment System process area and treated effluent on a regular basis as per RWTS Wastewater management plans
- Maintain the plant site to the highest of standard visually, mechanically and hydraulically
- Report on physical condition of treatment plant and overall site
- Perform testing on water supply, ph, free chlorine, turbidity, sludge and settling tests and record
- Promote information sharing and knowledge base
- Complete tasks as requested in accordance with prevailing RWTS standards, codes of practice, management practices and procedures

- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Good written and spoken English plus the ability to follow procedures
- Flexibility to work FIFO within Australia - even time 2/2 fortnightly rosters
- Very Market-competitive salary - negotiable based on skills and capability
- A desire to learn and further develop skills and experience in the water treatment industry
- Must be willing to freely participate in Drug/Alcohol testing randomly and under request to align with industry site requirements and consistently produce a negative result
- Be prepared to participate in standard Medical Assessments and Fitness for work assessments - in line with specific clients site requirements

Qualifications

- NWP30215 - Water and Waste Water Operations Certificate (preferable) Or Equivalent Certificate Three in Water and Wastewater Operations
- Plumbing or Electrical Licensea benefit by not an absolute requirement

Previous Experience

- Water and Wastewater system operations experience
- Operating, tuning, diagnosing, maintaining and servicing various types of water and waste water treatment systems; including
- Pumping system operations
- Chemical dosing System operations and maintenance
- Potable Water Production and Testing - preferably with multiple types of process systems
- Reverse Osmosis Experience a benefit
