About the role
We are seeking a Financial Planner to join our team in Bundall, Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our business. As a Financial Planner, you will be at the forefront of delivering tailored financial solutions to our clients, working collaboratively with our team to build and nurture client relationships. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' financial futures whilst contributing to the growth and success of the business.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and consultations with clients to understand their financial situation, goals and aspirations
Develop personalised financial plans covering areas such as retirement planning, investment strategy, tax planning, insurance and estate planning
Provide ongoing financial advice and recommendations to clients based on their changing circumstances and market conditions
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery
Prepare detailed financial planning documents and reports for clients in a clear and understandable manner
Stay current with financial products,
market trends, regulatory changes and industry best practices
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless client service and operational excellence
Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
What we’re looking for
At a minimum; Had a status of 'current' on the financial adviser register at any time between 1 January 2016 and 1 January 2019 AND hold a FASEA approved qualification.
Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment products, superannuation, tax and estate planning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in simple terms
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships built on trust and transparency
Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations in financial planning
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry changes
Problem-solving capability and a client-centric approach to financial advice
