About the Role As a Program Support Officer, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support to a high-performing team. You'll play a key role in coordinating business activities, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting governance processes that contribute to the successful delivery of important projects.
This position offers a great mix of structured administrative work alongside opportunities to improve processes, contribute to business initiatives, and support continuous improvement across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and triage a high-volume shared inbox, ensuring enquiries and correspondence are actioned efficiently.
- Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the wider team.
- Maintain databases, records, reporting tools and business systems.
- Assist with governance, compliance and document management activities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards and information for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate administrative support for stakeholder and community engagement activities.
- Build strong relationships across the business and provide responsive customer service.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organised and supporting others to achieve great outcomes.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience managing busy inboxes and coordinating competing priorities.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Experience maintaining records, databases and business systems.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Teams and SharePoint.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
Experience working within the Queensland Government or broader public sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
