We're looking for an Associate Research Analyst to:

- conduct valuation analysis focusing on the Building Materials and Steel sector
- convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
- build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
- provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
- remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

Your team

You'll be working in the Australian Equities Research team in Sydney. We provide investment insights to domestic and international institutional clients and have been consistently rated as Australia's leading team. You'll play an key role in analysing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations.

Your expertise

- ideally 3+ years of experience in a financials sell-side research role, accounting, consulting practice or materials company
- have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models




- confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
- adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
- inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
