Hansen Yuncken is currently seeking a Services Engineer to join our team in Cairns on a healthcare project. As part of our national business, you'll play a key role in delivering complex, high-profile projects that create a lasting impact within our communities.
Your background:
We are open to speaking with Site Engineers with a passion for building services, Services Engineers with 1–5 years of experience, or Mechanical/ Electrical Engineers interested in transitioning into a Services Engineer role with a commercial contractor.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the delivery of building services packages, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services, throughout the construction phase.
- Working collaboratively with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders to ensure services are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Attending site meetings, conducting inspections and monitoring construction progress against project programs and key milestones.
- Reviewing design documentation, identifying potential issues and working closely with the design team to develop practical construction solutions.
- Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Preparing detailed and accurate project reporting for management and other internal stakeholders.
What's Needed:
- 2–3 years' post-graduate experience with a commercial/government builder, building services contractor or consulting engineering firm in Australia.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Understanding of building services systems and the ability to interpret design drawings and technical specifications.
