Quality Assurance Manager & Stock Controller
The Quality Assurance Manager and Stock Controller ensures every completed stone piece meets Axxon in Stone’s quality standards before installation. The role checks dimensions, finishes, edge profiles, cut-outs, labels, drawings and overall workmanship, identifying defects, damage, missing pieces or fabrication errors.

Approved jobs must be safely organised and racked on their assigned external A-frame, correctly labelled, protected and ready for installers.

The role also manages slab and material inventory, conducts regular stock takes, maintains accurate stock records and organises stock locations. They will coordinate closely with machine operators to ensure the correct materials are allocated, used and recorded. The successful candidate must be intelligent, diligent, reliable, organised and highly detail-focused.y, improve systems, maintain standards, and help ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality assurance checks across fabrication and installation processes

- Review drawings, measurements, revisions, and production documentation for accuracy

- Identify workflow inefficiencies, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities

- Monitor completed jobs and report defects, inconsistencies, or quality concerns





- Coordinate with drafting, scheduling, production, and installation teams

- Assist in developing and improving SOPs and QA procedures

- Track errors, issues, and corrective actions through internal systems

- Support process standardization and operational improvement initiatives

- Ensure compliance with company standards and WHS requirements

About You

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Experience in quality assurance, construction, manufacturing, stone masonry, cabinetry, or a related industry preferred

- Ability to read plans and understand construction or fabrication workflows

- Strong communication and coordination skills

- Highly organized and process-driven

- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

- Experience with stone benchtops, CAD drawings, Moraware, or production workflows is highly regarded
