The BBQ School Pty Ltd – The Centennial Park NSW

The BBQ School Pty Ltd is looking for Cooking Class Teachers & Assistants who have a passion for American Smoking BBQ and Low and Slow cooking to join our team in Centennial Park, NSW. This is a regular casual role that will see you leading and supporting engaging hands‑on BBQ cooking classes and sharing your expertise with enthusiastic students looking to improve their BBQ skills.

Classes are run each Sunday from Centennial Park plus regular additional work opportunities on Saturdays at our other Sydney venues plus mid‑week corporate events and catering.

What you'll be doing

- Delivering interactive BBQ cooking classes for small groups of students
- Demonstrating a range of BBQ techniques, including smoking, grilling, and indirect cooking methods
- Providing guidance, tips, and feedback to students to help them perfect their BBQ skills
- Maintaining a safe and organised class setting
- Collaborating with the team to continuously improve and expand the class offerings

What we're looking for

- Extensive experience as a professional Chef, with a deep understanding of BBQ techniques and flavours




- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all skill levels
- Passion for the art of BBQ and a desire to share your knowledge and expertise with others
- Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure classes run smoothly
- A friendly, patient, and approachable demeanour.
