About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance skilled to join our organisation as a Part-Time Finance Director. This role is well suited to a senior finance leader seeking a flexible opportunity to continue contributing their expertise, including those transitioning into a retirement phase.

As Finance Director, you will provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on financial strategy, growth opportunities, investment decisions, risk management, and organisational sustainability. You will lead the Finance function with an analytical and commercial approach, ensuring strong financial governance and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board on business performance, growth, investment and risk.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and cost analysis processes.




- Provide insights into financial performance, profitability, pricing, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting, systems and processes to support a growing organisation.
- Support financial due diligence and integration activities relating to mergers, acquisitions and organisational change.
- Support the delivery of strategic initiatives and organisational growth objectives.

What We’re Looking For

- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within the not-for-profit sector and/or organisations with residential and transitional housing operations.
- Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, profitability assessment and business performance management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with executives, Boards and operational teams.
- A high-integrity, approachable and collaborative leadership style.
- A growth mindset with experience building scalable processes and supporting organisations through change.
- Passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
