Role:
Are you a highly organised administrator who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on workplace? Kempe Engineering Hobart is growing rapidly across our Moonah workshop, field service and repairs division — and we need a skilled Project/Sales Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our team. This is a varied, fulltime role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with our Management and workshop teams, keeping everything running smoothly while building strong client relationships.
- Plan works, projects and job enquiries
- Helping plan and schedule workshop and site service activities to keep jobs on track
- Building client relationships through daily updates on job progress and planned works
- Preparing quotes and tenders, and managing work in progress from start to finish
- Supporting and championing daily safety processes and protocols
- Preparing weekly and monthly business reports and KPIs
- Acting as an ambassador for Kempe Engineering values, policies and procedures
Permanent, fulltime office-based role in Moonah, Hobart
What we’re looking for:
- Background in an engineering, mechanical or automotive workshop environment (a real bonus)
- Experience in end‑to‑end sales — from enquiries and quotes through to invoicing
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales and quotes (desirable)
- A natural ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong communication and organisational skills — you keep things clear and on track
- Confident with the MS Office suite
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- A friendly, team‑oriented attitude — you genuinely enjoy working with people
