Little Corner Early Learning is a family-owned early education service in Redland Bay. We offer a warm, well-resourced and supportive environment for children, families and educators.

We care for children from six weeks to Kindergarten and value calm, consistent care, genuine relationships and high-quality play-based learning.

We are seeking a fully qualified Certificate III or Diploma Educator to join one of our established room teams in a permanent part-time role.

About the role

You will work alongside experienced educators and leaders to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children feel secure, supported and able to thrive.

The role includes:

- building warm and respectful relationships with children and families;
- supporting children’s wellbeing, routines and transitions;
- maintaining active supervision throughout the day;
- contributing to play-based learning experiences;
- completing observations, planning and documentation;
- working collaboratively within an established room team;
- helping maintain welcoming and well-presented learning environments; and
- following service policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Availability

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday and able to be rostered for shifts falling between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

What you will need

- A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care




- A current Queensland Blue Card
- Current child protection training, including Gecko training, or willingness to complete this before commencing
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Knowledge of the NQF, NQS, EYLF and QKLG
- Confidence interpreting curriculum documents and contributing to educational planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative, reliable and positive approach to teamwork

- Participate in ongoing professional learning and team development
