About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Financial Controller. If you have a strong foundation in accounting and Finance, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy, this is the perfect prospect for you. Key Responsibilities

- Financial Control:Ensure timely and accurate month-end transactions, close processes, reconciliations, and reporting. Manage payroll and ensure on-time compliance with ATO requirements, including BAS, FBT and end of Financial Year Reporting.
- Finance Systems:Oversee and manage the General Ledger, Payroll and ERP system.
- Business Partnering:Act as the key finance business partner,



providing financial insights and guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting decision‑making processes.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement:Monitor and update finance policies, manage debt and expenditure recognition, and lead continuous improvement efforts across finance systems and processes.

Skills & Experience

- A University degree in accounting, with CA/CPA qualification.
- Experience in financial and management accounting roles, with a deep understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation legislation.
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Ability to manage and resolve issues, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Hands‑on approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent computer skills particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with the Directors and senior management
