If you’re a Fortinet-driven Network Engineer who thrives in secure, high-stakes environments, this is the role that puts you at the centre of mission-critical defence infrastructure.
What you’ll own
- Designing, implementing and optimising secure network solutions across Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD?WAN)
- Hardening and maintaining gateway environments aligned to defence security standards
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues across multi-site, high-availability environments
- Supporting uplift of network security posture, automation and documentation
- Working closely with cyber, infrastructure and architecture teams to deliver secure-by-design outcomes
What you bring
- NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
- Solid Fortinet experience-ideally 3–6+ years hands-on across firewalls, VPNs, routing, segmentation and policy management
- Solid grounding in secure networking principles,
defence environments and compliance frameworks
- Experience across routing/switching (Cisco/Juniper welcome but Fortinet is the hero)
- Ability to operate in structured, high-security environments with precision and accountability
Why this role matters:
You’ll be joining a defence program where network reliability, resilience and security are non-negotiable. This is a chance to work with modern Fortinet stacks, influence secure architecture, and contribute to national-level capability uplift.
