We are seeking skilled PROJECT ENGINEER to join our project team in Brisbane. IPCQ are a Queensland-based company with work all over Australia and long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate. Duties includes but will not be limited to:
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets Apply engineering knowledge to design, analyse, and troubleshoot technical issues Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate on-site engineering activities to achieve company time and budget objectives Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment Coordinate and administer engineering activities to meet program & timelines
Track project progress, identify potential risks,
and report on project status to stakeholders Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions Execute working knowledge of contractual Project Scope & Requirements (PSR)
Use approved documents and record management systems for company performance reporting Develop and maintain an awareness of HSEQ hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols on project sites.
Required for this role: Experience: Should have at least four years of experience in field operations and project planning, with a solid background in HSEQ practices. Engineering Knowledge: A strong understanding of engineering principles and practices relevant to the specific project type.
Project Management: Skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing project resources. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and project challenges.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
