The facility offers 8 rooms with 24-hour on-site nursing, ancillary services and accommodation for anyone with life-limiting illnesses at the end stage of life. We also offer a range of support services for families and loved ones.

Your Role as Enrolled Nurse
You’ll provide holistic care to guests at Hopewell Hospice working alongside Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers. By embracing the philosophy of Hopewell Hospice you will:
Deliver holistic care and support to guests and families accessing the service, following relevant care plans and under the supervision of the clinical team
Observe, monitor, interpret, document and report signs and symptoms
Medication administration
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans.
Assist in the orientation of new staff
Support guests with all aspects of daily living, including but not restricted to, personal care, associated light domestic duties and social/community participation
Provide guests with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well‑being
What We’re Looking For
AHPRA Registration
Hospice Experience
Ability to provide high level nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice
Demonstrated passion and commitment to connecting the community to the mission and vision of Hopewell Hospice
The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times
Proven high level teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve objectives and promote positive working relationships
Enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience in supporting people with illness and complex and chronic care needs
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
