We're looking for an experienced Operations & Service Delivery Manager who is ready to make a genuine impact.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the performance, quality and sustainability of our service delivery operations.
You will lead a multidisciplinary operational team while ensuring our services remain participant-focused, financially sustainable, and fully compliant with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making informed decisions, and delivering measurable operational outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead all day-to-day Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Participation operations.
- Inspire, mentor and develop Team Leaders, House Coordinators and frontline employees.
- Drive workforce planning, rostering efficiency and resource utilisation.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee incident management,
safeguarding, quality assurance and risk management.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal audits and organisational audit readiness.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing costs, budgets and workforce utilisation.
- Maximise SIL occupancy while maintaining quality participant outcomes.
- Deliver operational reporting and performance insights to Executive Leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial sustainability.
Governance & Systems
- Strengthen operational systems, policies and governance frameworks.
- Improve documentation standards and compliance processes.
- Ensure workforce practices align with SCHADS Award obligations.
- Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
- Implement systems that improve consistency, accountability and organisational resilience.
Growth & Stakeholder Engagement
Strengthen referral pathways and participant intake processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with Support Coordinators, Allied Health professionals and key stakeholders.
- Monitor referral trends and conversion performance.
- Identify opportunities for sustainable organisational growth.
About You
You are an experienced operational leader who understands that outstanding disability services require strong leadership, effective governance and commercially sound decision-making.
You are confident leading teams through change, making informed decisions, and creating a culture of accountability and high performance.
You will also bring:
- Minimum five years' leadership experience within the disability sector.
- Significant experience managing Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site or multi-disciplinary operations.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing workforce performance, budgets and operational KPIs.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding, incident management and organisational risk.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing systems and processes that improve operational performance.
- A cooperative leadership style with the confidence to make decisions and drive results.
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable
- Tertiary qualification in Disability, Nursing, Social Work, Human Services, Business or Management.
- Experience overseeing multiple SIL homes.
- Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award workforce obligations.
- Experience leading NDIS certification or surveillance audits.
- Experience implementing rostering, CRM or operational management systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 + Superannuation
Work Location: Oran Park (Office-based with regular service visits)
