About our client

Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards.

What you will be doing

They are currently seeking a Factory Hand, to join to their team out of their Helensvale yard/warehouse. This is a Monday - Friday position commencing at 7am working 8-hour days. You will be trained and responsible for the following duties;

- Welding steel
- Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift
- Loading steel onto pallets
- Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
- Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
- Maintain cleanliness of the factory

The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.

What you will need

- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
- High Risk Forklift Ticket (desirable but not mandatory)
- Physically Fit
- Ability to pass a PEM/D&A;
