We’re looking for a Dispatch Officer to join our Courier Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager/Supervisor and working closely with the Courier Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, safe and compliant job allocation across our courier fleet. Currently located in Rydalmere, however excited to be relocating to a new office space in Kemps Creek in late 2026.

What You’ll Do:
- Allocating courier jobs efficiently to ensure 80% of deliveries are completed within agreed timeframes
- Coordinating the metropolitan and regional courier fleet to maintain service coverage and performance
- Communicating clearly and professionally with sub‑contractors
- Ensuring jobs are allocated to the correct vehicle type and remain within capacity, mass and dimension limits
- Proactively monitoring live and future bookings to identify and resolve service, safety or capacity risks
- Managing client expectations by escalating delays, issues and exceptions through appropriate customer service channels
- Submitting accurate ring backs and job updates to keep customers informed of delivery progress
- Reviewing daily fatigue communications and re‑allocating work where drivers may exceed maximum hours
- Completing after‑hours handovers, including live jobs, fatigue risks and available sub‑contractors
- Recording all critical job information, communication and delivery issues accurately in the Transport Management System (TMS)
- Escalating incidents, near misses and safety concerns and assisting with investigations when needed
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication and decision‑making skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working in a live operational workplace
- Ability to apply safety and compliance principles under pressure
- Previous dispatch, transport or logistics experience highly regarded - but not essential
- Full Australian working rights
- Driver’s license required
