Tyrolit is a global leader in grinding, cutting, drilling and surface preparation solutions, supplying innovative products to construction, floor preparation, hire and trade industries.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow our customer base across Sydney suburbs and selected northern beaches territories. The role will focus on developing business with key hire and rental partners, as well as contractors involved in floor preparation, grinding, polishing and concrete cutting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships and driving sales of premium tools, equipment and consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Account Management
- Manage and grow existing accounts around Sydney, western suburbs as well as northern beaches
- Build strategic relationships with key customers, procurement teams and service staff.
- New business development
- Identify and secure new customers in:
Floor preparation and polishing end users
Sawing & Drilling end users
Hire and rental
Trade B2B
2) Develop opportunities with contractors, professional floor grinding contractors,
hire companies and sawing and drilling contractors.
- Deliver on-site product demonstrations and technical support.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and hire partners.
- Provide recommendations on tooling and equipment solutions.
- Develop territory sales plans and growth strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales records, quotations and activity reports.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Regional travel
- Travel regularly to regional customers in Northern NSW
- Conduct overnight trips as required to support key accounts and prospecting activities.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven sales experience in industrial, construction or hire-related industries.
- Strong understanding of floor preparation and concrete grinding equipment.
- Experience working with major hire companies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a defined territory.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
