About opportunity
Under the leadership and guidance of the Supervising Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be bringing your technical skills and expertise to efficiently operate a range of automated analysers and software.This is full time position of 38 hours per week.
Applications should possess the following:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant laboratory or scientific field or equivalent with subjects in Clinical Biochemistry advantageous
- Chemistry pathology laboratory experience working in the Australian pathology industry preferred
- Experience with Chemistry and Immunoassay analysers within a high volume automated track environment. LCMS experience would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to demonstrate sound organisation skills, and work well under pressure
- Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
- Appropriate working rights to work in Australia
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adhering to company and quality policies and procedures.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workflow efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining and utilising analysers and equipment, including quality control and troubleshooting
- Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit high level of interpersonal skill and have the ability to work within a team workplace.
- Availability to work on a rotating 24/7 roster which includes overnights, weekends and public holidays is a requirement of this role.
