The BrainWell Collective is a growing multidisciplinary allied health practice providing Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Allied Health Assistant services across South East Queensland.

As demand for our paediatric services continues to grow, we're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team and help shape the continued development of our paediatric speech service.

About the Role

You’ll work with children presenting with:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

- Developmental Language Disorder

- Global Developmental Delay

- Intellectual Disability

- Neurodevelopmental differences

- Complex communication needs

Your role will include:

- Assessment and intervention for speech, language and communication

- Social communication and pragmatic language therapy

- AAC assessment and implementation

- Parent coaching and capacity building

- Collaboration with schools, kindergartens and support teams

- Functional goal setting and outcome-focused intervention

- Participation in multidisciplinary care planning

Depending on your experience and interests, there may also be opportunities to work in paediatric feeding and dysphagia.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working with paediatric clients

- Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

- Enjoys working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams

- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently

- Values ongoing learning and professional development

- Is passionate about delivering high-quality, family-centred care

Experience with AAC, autism, developmental disabilities and/or paediatric feeding is highly regarded but not essential.

Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

- Professional indemnity insurance (if applicable)
