We are looking for experienced and skilled Disability Support Workers to build strong relationships with participants and be part of stable teams in Sunnybank, Park Ridge, Silkstoneand surrounding areas.

Ideally, we are looking to build a team for a male client in Loganlea, with staff requiring experience with Epilepsy and Autism, following behaviour support plans and completing documentation as required.

If you have a strong background in working with individuals with dementia, ABIs, mental health, and have a compassionate approach, we want to hear from you. Whether you are looking for AM, PM, weekends or sleepovers, we can work around your lifestyle.

Your Role:

As a Support Worker at HelpAlong, you will be providing essential support to participants living in SIL homes, supporting them to live independently while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. You will use your knowledge of mental health to assist participants in overcoming challenges, working collaboratively with their support network to deliver the best outcomes.

Client Support Needs:

- Personal care
- Behaviour reporting and support plan implementation
- Daily living support, including medication administration
- Domestic assistance with cooking, cleaning, gardening, and routines
- Mental health and behavioural support (PTSD, Autism, Intellectual Disability)

About You

- We’re looking for people who bring a mix of experience, skills and understanding to the role. You don’t need to meet every point below to apply:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
- Previous disability support experience
- Current First Aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current driver licence and own vehicle
- Looking for regular, consistent rostered shifts
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and follow behaviour support plans
- Confident with documentation, reporting,



and following procedures
- Flexible and reliable with availability
