Bluewave Sports is seeking a Warehouse Store Person (Casual) to join our agile team at our Salisbury warehouse facility. Bluewave wholesales into the fishing, camping and sporting goods markets. This is a casual position offering flexibility and variety in a family friendly logistics environment. You will be based at our Salisbury QLD 4107 location, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly. This role is essential to maintaining our inventory accuracy, order fulfilment efficiency, and overall warehouse productivity.

Key responsibilities

- Picking items from warehouse shelves and storage areas according to customer orders and picking lists
- Packing products accurately and securely into boxes or containers, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Labelling and preparing shipments for dispatch to customers
- Recording items using warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records
- Organising and tidying warehouse shelves and storage areas to ensure efficient access to stock
- Assisting with receiving and checking in new stock deliveries
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and other handling equipment where required
- Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Communicating effectively with team members to support seamless warehouse operations
- Supporting quality control by identifying and reporting any damaged or defective items

Hours will be daytime business hours week days

What we are looking for

- Previous experience as a Picker and Packer, warehouse operative, or in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift,



carry and move items regularly throughout your shift, with some items weighing up to 20 kilograms
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and IT equipment, or willingness to be trained
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow picking and packing instructions precisely
- A safety-conscious mindset with commitment to adhering to workplace health and safety procedures
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual roles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
