Dukes Earthmoving Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced HC Truck Driver to join our operations team in Lithgow NSW. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to our construction and earthmoving operations. This position has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. As an HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy vehicles, transporting materials and equipment across job sites. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our projects and requires a skilled approach to safety, punctuality and vehicle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

- Operate heavy vehicle Truck & Dog (HC) safely and in accordance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Transport materials, equipment and machinery to and from construction sites and other designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety equipment and mechanical systems are functioning correctly
- Maintain accurate logbooks, records of journeys and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits and weight restrictions whilst driving
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials where required
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, dispatchers and other team members
- Report any vehicle defects, maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle interior and exterior

What we’re looking for

- Valid HC (or higher) Driver's Licence with a clean driving record




- Proven experience operating Truck & Dog heavy vehicles in a construction environment
- Experience loading, carting and tipping of materials are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, load management and vehicle maintenance
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Commitment to health and safety standards on job sites
- Current First Aid certification (desirable but not essential)
