About the Role
As the Reliability Engineer – Fixed, you'll be responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and optimising maintenance strategies across the underground mobile fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing reliability improvement strategies
- Analysing equipment performance, reliability trends and maintenance KPIs
- Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and defect elimination initiatives
- Reviewing preventative maintenance strategies and recommending improvements
- Supporting lifecycle management and asset performance optimisation
- Working closely with Maintenance Planners, Supervisors and Operations teams
- Providing technical recommendations to improve fleet availability and reliability
- Maintaining asset data and reporting through SAP
Plant & Equipment
You'll provide reliability support across a range of fixed plant assets, including:
conveyors and ancillary processing equipment
- Fixed plant associated with underground hard rock mining operations
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Reliability Engineer within mining or heavy industry
- Experience supporting heavy mobile mining equipment
- Underground hard rock mining experience (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of reliability methodologies, including RCA and defect elimination
- Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
