NLB Fencing and Balustrades Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Balustrade and Fencing Installer to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fencing and balustrade installations to our clients across the Newcastle region. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for transforming design specifications into expertly crafted installations that meet our stringent quality standards and exceed customer expectations. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the building trades industry and directly contributes to our business growth and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Install balustrades and fencing systems according to approved design specifications and industry standards
- Prepare work sites by measuring, marking, and setting out installation areas with precision
- Assemble, fit, and secure balustrade components, panels, and fencing materials using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality requirements
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to verify workmanship and structural integrity
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate on-site activities and meet project deadlines
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Balustrade and Fencing Installer or similar role in the building trades
- Solid knowledge of fencing and balustrade systems, materials, and installation methodologies
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools,



and measuring equipment
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards relevant to fencing and balustrade installations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and in demanding environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Valid working with children check (WWC) or willingness to obtain one (if applicable)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in building trades or fencing installation (preferred)
