About the Role
- Predicable rostered shifts over 7 day roster. Early mornings, evenings, weekend shifts make up our roster.
- Drive C-Class vehicles (MR and HR desirable). Opportunity to take vehicle home - Direct to work!
- Operate generators, pumps, sprayers, pressure washers and power tools.
- Set up work area with signage and barricades. Protect all surrounding surfaces.
- Set up environmental controls including sediment socks, filter pads and operate vacuums.
- Wide range of service applications, such as:
- Cleaning and pressure washing
- Graffiti removal & painting
- Gardening, watering and softscape maintenance
- Follow and/or Implement Safe Work Method Statements. Complete site inductions and report incidents.
- Digital Communications is KEY! Document proof of services by using iPhone to take photos and videos. Document this evidence and other information on a web based application.
- Pack up site and clean up tools and equipment. document and report any repairs, near misses and/or incidents.
- Maintain and clean equipment. Carry out regular inspections and cleaning.

About You
You’re a reliable, motivated and safety-focused team player with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering quality work. You take ownership of your responsibilities, communicate effectively, solve problems proactively and maintain high standards in everything you do. You work well independently, contribute positively to team culture and are committed to continuous improvement.
You will have experience in all of the skills listed above. You will operate as one of the levels below that we will assess through your recruitment and assessment reviews:
- Leave 1 - Working under instruction with guidance to be autonomous
- Level 2 - Working independently & give instructions
The operator level reflects salary and remuneration levels within our advertised scale.
Essential Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence (C, HR or MR classes)
- OHS White Card
- Basic knowledge of Canberra region geography & ability to read maps
- Comfortable using smartphones/tablets (training provided)
- Demonstrated experience in similar or related trades
Bonus Points If You Have
- ACT Asbestos & Silica Awareness Cards
- Vulnerable people, children and police checks (ACT & NSW)
- Working at Heights & Elevated Work Platform - High Risk and/or Yellow Card
- Trades experiences:
- Joint caulk sealing or waterproofing
- Painting experience or Coatings applications
- Soft-washing or exterior cleaning
- Concrete repairing or epoxy installation
- Paver laying or landscaping
