Maintenance Fitter

At Marsh Alliance, you'll work on a wide variety of production machinery, tooling, jigs and fixtures—not repetitive production line work. Best of all, you'll enjoy a permanent 4-day work week, working Tuesday to Friday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, giving you a three-day weekend every week.

The Role

Working within our Toolroom & Maintenance team, you'll:

- Maintain, repair and fault-find production machinery and equipment
- Manufacture, modify and repair tooling, jigs, fixtures and machine components
- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and workshop equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Assist with machinery installations, tooling changes and commissioning
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime




- Identify improvement opportunities to increase reliability and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship

About You

You'll bring:

- Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or production environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience using conventional machine shop equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Pride in producing quality work
- A practical, positive approach and willingness to work as part of a team

Experience maintaining production machinery and manufacturing or modifying tooling will be highly regarded.
