Customer Service Officer
The Company
PE Foods is a leading Bakery Ingredient Wholesaler servicing Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns and Northern NSW. We supply a wide range of dry, refrigerated and frozen products to artisan and wholesale bakeries.
We are currently seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer to join our Acacia Ridge team. This role suits reliable, organised individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused warehouse workplace.
The Role
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will support daily customer service and administrative operations, ensuring accurate order processing and strong customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and enquiries
- Proactively contact customers to take and confirm orders
- Accurately enter and process orders
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team
- Assist customers collecting orders from the warehouse
- Liaise with warehouse staff regarding stock and dispatch
- Conduct customer follow-ups
- General administrative duties as required
About You
- Previous customer service experience (high call volumes advantageous)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable with excellent time management
- Comfortable working in a warehouse-based office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
- Willingness to learn inventory, stock management and dispatch processes
- Positive, proactive "can-do" attitude
