About the Role

Reporting to the NPD Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, optimisation and commercialisation of products, processes and packaging solutions across our product portfolio. Working closely with Production, Quality, Technical, Planning and Commercial teams, you'll help drive projects from concept through to successful launch. This is a predominantly factory‑based role that provides invaluable exposure to food manufacturing operations and the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage critical path timelines for product launches and value optimisation projects.
- Lead allocated New Product Development (NPD) and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Coordinate and conduct factory trials and pre‑production runs.
- Capture,



analyse and document detailed trial data and outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf‑life assessments.
- Coordinate microbiological and chemical testing to ensure food safety requirements are achieved.
- Collaborate with Technical and Quality teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and brand guidelines.
- Complete post‑launch reviews and drive continuous improvement actions.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

- A qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance or a related discipline.
- HACCP knowledge and food safety understanding.
- Experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment (preferred).
- Understanding of food labelling and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to optimise production outcomes.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team.
- A genuine passion for food innovation.
