Role Description Casual Cleaners / Contract Cleaners at The Clean Hub perform on-site cleaning duties for residential and commercial properties in Newcastle, NSW. Day-to-day tasks include general cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, rubbish removal, and basic outdoor tidying as required. Depending on skills and experience, cleaners may assist with more specialized services such as estate cleaning, de-cluttering support, and sensitive environment cleaning under clear guidelines and supervision. The role also involves following safety procedures, using cleaning equipment correctly,



and reporting any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires reliable attendance, qualified conduct, and adherence to company standards.
Qualifications

Strong practical cleaning skills, including surface sanitizing, floor care, and bathroom/kitchen cleaning.Hold or willing to obtain NDIS workers screening.Ability to follow cleaning checklists, instructions, and safety procedures with attention to detail.Good time management skills, including punctuality, task prioritization, and efficient work practices.Effective communication skills for interacting with supervisors, teammates, and clients in a skilled manner.Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and respectful attitude.Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs.Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is desirable; experience in specialized or sensitive cleaning environments is an advantage.Current driver’s license and reliable transport to reach job sites in and around Newcastle, NSW is preferred.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, especially in estate and sensitive cleaning situations.
