About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Sterilising Technician to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our hospital's sterile store, sterilisation, and sanitation processes. Your role will be essential in maintaining a hygienic and well-organized environment that supports patient care and safety.

Your Role and Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain thermal washer, ultrasonic cleaners, steriliser, and other equipment according to established protocols.
- Assemble and prepare surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies for sterilisation processes.
- Monitor sterilisation cycles, record data, and perform routine equipment maintenance and quality checks.




- Package and label sterilised items accurately and maintain up-to-date inventory list.
- Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure that sterile supplies are readily available for procedures.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Ensure patient and business privacy and confidentiality.
- Dispose of medical waste and sharps containers in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and infection control.
