Jandowae Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis. This is a four-week placement running from 31 August to 27 September 2026, offering up to 80 hours per fortnight at a rate of AUD58.95 to AUD76.20 per hour. Based in Jandowae, Queensland, this role is ideal for a nurse with strong emergency experience looking for rural and remote work. Travel costs from Brisbane are capped at AUD200 each way, with accommodation arranged.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing and triage assessment
- Competence in cannulation and aged care nursing
- Experience working in rural and remote healthcare settings
- Team leadership capability and ability to work effectively under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate emergency nursing qualification or relevant career development
