Opportunity for a Part-time Optometrist with room to progress in the future to full-time to join our team. Candidates only should apply if they hold an Optometry degree and are registered with the OBA.

The successful applicant must possess outstanding customer service skills and be a reliable and a highly organised individual who is able to work efficiently on their own and within a team environment.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, we are looking for someone to join our highly efficient team, making our patients feel comfortable while delivering the highest level of care and supporting the doctors to deliver outstanding and exceptional service.

About the role

Work alongside an established clinical and admin team, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- General, and specialised patient work ups
- General ophthalmological diagnostic testingincluding refractions




- Pre and Post-operative patient care
- All facets of patient triage
- Assistance with surgical lens size calculations and selection
- Managing and maintaining patient records
- Able to work under the direction of the Ophthalmologist
