We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Materials Sorter to join a busy recycling and resource recovery operation. This is a casual, Monday to Friday role offering weekday work within a structured, team-based environment.
About the Role
This position plays a key role in supporting the efficient sorting and processing of recyclable materials within a fast-paced facility. You will work as part of a team to ensure materials are accurately separated and site operations run smoothly while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manual sorting of recyclable materials on a processing line or designated work areas
- Identifying and separating waste streams in accordance with site requirements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times
- Following all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Participating in team briefings and safety discussions
About You

You will also have:
- Current White Card (NSW General Construction Induction)
- Reliable attendance and robust timekeeping
- Own reliable transport to and from site (essential)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, repetitive environment
- Strong focus on workplace health and safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Previous experience in recycling, waste, construction, or industrial labouring environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
