What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair faults in light vehicles
- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform a range of mechanical work, including engine repairs, brakes, suspension, electrical, and more
- Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Assist with workshop operations and ensure a safe, tidy and organised working environment
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a relevant trade
- Several years of hands-on experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
