Full Job Description Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand for a long-term commercial project in Spring Hill, Brisbane, QLD. The project involves extensive internal refurbishment and electrical fit-out works in a hotel. This is a great prospect for an experienced electrician looking to step into a leadership role on a sizeable project.

About the Role

- Leading a team of electricians and apprentices
- Coordinating daily electrical activities on site
- Commercial electrical fit-out and installation
- Rough-in, fit-off and final electrical works
- Lighting, power and general electrical services
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
- Coordinating materials and labour requirements
- Conducting pre-starts and maintaining site safety standards
- Working closely with the builder, supervisors and other trades




- Monitoring progress and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

What We're Looking For

- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Proven experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or experienced electrician ready to step up
- Strong commercial construction or fit-out experience
- Ability to lead a small team and coordinate site activities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- White Card
- Current CPR & LVR
- Driver's Licence
