Join a leading national food manufacturing business as a Maintenance Electrician and play a key role in an exciting period of growth and transformation.
Working on a rotating day and afternoon shift roster, you'll initially be based at our Eagle Farm processing facility before transitioning to our brand-new Port West site. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the commissioning and ongoing development of a state-of-the-art facility, helping shape maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and operational success from the ground up.
Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator, you will support both Engineering and Production teams by delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services. Your responsibilities will include planned and preventative maintenance, breakdown response, continuous improvement initiatives, and the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimise the performance of production lines, plant, and equipment
Conduct fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities
Minimise downtime by responding effectively to breakdowns
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations
Roster (3-week rotating):
Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm (10-hour shifts)
Week 2: Tuesday–Saturday, 5:00am–1:00pm
Week 3: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm
Flexibility to work overtime is required.
About You
Current Queensland Electrical Licence
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability on production machinery
Experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
Knowledge of PLC systems (desirable)
Experience with high-speed production equipment (conveyors, sensors, packers, etc.)
Understanding of preventative maintenance systems (e.g. MEX or similar)
Ability to identify improvements and drive outcomes through to completion
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
