Gross Motor Development Manager - FunFit Kidz

Fun Fit Kidz is an educational, interactive, and engaging program delivered across Early Learning Centres, Preschools, and OOSH Centres throughout Sydney. Our mission is to develop children's gross motor skills, build physical literacy, and promote the value of a healthy and active lifestyle.

As Gross Motor Development Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in achieving client goals by managing relationships, overseeing program delivery, and supporting coach development. You will also analyse and interpret gross motor data to generate actionable insights that enhance outcomes for children and guide business goals and decisions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Program Delivery & Client Outcomes

- Assess and analyse gross motor skill data to provide insights supporting business and client goals.

- Deliver detailed reports to clients and stakeholders outlining results, improvement strategies, and action plans.

- Facilitate group-based exercise sessions across partner centres.

- Demonstrate, instruct, and modify exercises to ensure safety, engagement, and progression.

- Observe, cue, and provide feedback to support individual development.

- Monitor and adapt programs to suit children's needs and developmental stages.

Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, inspire, and mentor the Fun Fit Kidz coaching team.

- Provide regular feedback, upskilling, and professional development opportunities.

- Train and onboard recent coaches to ensure consistent delivery quality and brand alignment.

- Oversee program design and continuous improvement in all exercise programming areas.

Operational & Safety Standards

- Enforce and model safety procedures and child protection standards.

- Prepare and pack down activity areas and equipment.

- Administer first aid when required.

- Maintain professional conduct and communication with all stakeholders

On Offer:

- Part-Time Position: 30 hours per week (9 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday).

- Casual: Casual Positions available for right candidate.

Location:

We are a mobile business servicing multiple sites across Sydney, primarily based around Parramatta and Western Sydney.

Essential Selection Criteria:

- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science or related field.

- ESSA Accreditation (or willingness to obtain before commencement).

- Demonstrated experience working or coaching with children.

- Any level of experience working or coaching with children is acceptable for this position.

- Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

- Current First Aid and CPR certification welcomed.

- Own vehicle with valid driver's licence and appropriate insurance.
