Position summary

As a Shower Screen Glazier at Panorama Glass, you will measure, fabricate where required, and install framed and frameless shower screens in residential bathrooms, ensuring each installation is precise, compliant, and fully watertight. You’ll also install related glass products such as mirrors and splashbacks, and carry out repairs or reglazing of existing shower screens.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct site visits to measure showers accurately, taking into account uneven, out-of-square walls and fall in floors.

- Install framed, semi-frameless, and frameless shower screens, including doors, fixed panels, and hardware (hinges, brackets, handles, seals).

- Fabricate or assemble shower screen components in the workshop as required, following work orders and technical drawings.

- Apply professional silicone sealing and finishing to ensure watertight, neat, and durable installations.

- Install associated products such as bathroom mirrors and glass splashbacks when required.

- Remove, reglaze, or replace damaged shower screens and hardware safely and efficiently.





- Handle and transport glass using appropriate lifting gear, suction cups, and PPE to maintain safety at all times.

- Follow Australian Building and safety glazing standards (or your local standards) and Panorama Glass procedures on every job.

- Provide professional, friendly service to homeowners and builders, including answering basic product and care questions on site.

Qualifications and skills

- Experience in shower screen installation, glazing, or related glass trades is highly regarded; training can be provided for the right candidate.

- Robust measurement skills and ability to read and interpret plans, work orders, and technical drawings.

- Confident use of hand and power tools for drilling, fixing hardware, and silicone application.

- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and maneuver shower screen panels safely.

- High attention to detail and pride in delivering neat, level, and plumb installations that don’t leak.

- Valid driver’s license and comfortable working at multiple sites during the day.

- Strong customer service skills and skilled presentation when working in customers' homes.

Working conditions

- Full-time, on-the-road role visiting residential sites plus occasional workshop work.

- Work in finished bathrooms and active building sites, sometimes in tight spaces and varying conditions.

- Regular handling of glass panels and hardware, with PPE and safety procedures in place.
