Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for a role supporting an upcoming project based in Bajool, QLD. This is a casual opportunity offering the potential of between 6 – 9 months of ongoing work, Mon – Fri up to 12 hour days.
Due to the nature of the role and work schedule, local candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability for all Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E;) matters on site
- Ensure construction activities are executed in line with approved specifications and design requirements
- Coordinate effectively with project management, contractors, and relevant stakeholders
- Manage and control construction materials on site
- Support the Project Manager in identifying, assessing, and managing project variations
- Oversee testing and pre-commissioning activities, ensuring they are planned and executed appropriately
- Identify, record, and drive closure of non-conformances
- Contribute to work pack development and as-built documentation alongside the Project Manager and engineering team
- Monitor progress and ensure works align with the project schedule
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction supervision
- Strong understanding of site safety and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work autonomously across split shifts
- Ideally, locally based in or near Bajool, QLD
- Proof of right to work in Australia
