Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to join our growing team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to be part of a supportive, experienced team.
The Role
We are seeking skilled and motivated Fire Detection Technician's to join our growing team in South East Qld. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, inspection, servicing, and minor maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring our clients' fire detection systems remain compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest standards.
Install, service, test, and fault‑find fire alarm systems
Work with fire panels including Ampac, Notifier, and Pertronic
Read and interpret plans and drawings
Work with our Project Team to deliver quality installations and manage day‑to‑day priorities
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and contractors while delivering strong customer service
Complete work in line with Australian Standards and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For (minimum requirements)
1–3 years’ experience in the fire industry or a similar electrical role
Knowledge of fire alarm systems, panels, and associated equipment
White Card and Driver’s Licence
Fire Protection Occupational Licence (QBCC) or Queensland Electrical Licence
Good computer literacy and organisation skills
Able to respond to issues decisively, effectively, and professionally
Team-focused, reliable, and willing to bring a positive, can‑do attitude
Physically fit and able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role
