As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and organised Front Desk & Rostering Officer to join our Operations team.

About the Role
This is a dynamic position combining reception, administration and rostering responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for participants, families, visitors and staff while supporting the coordination of support worker shifts to ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently.
You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment, maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring our participants continue to receive high-quality supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional reception service to participants, families, visitors and staff.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate and fill vacant support worker shifts using our rostering software.
- Update and maintain daily staff rosters.
- Liaise with support workers regarding availability and roster changes.
- Assist with scheduling planned and unplanned shift replacements.
- Prepare cash takings for participant's houses and reconcile weekly cash takings.
- Maintain accurate records and data within organisational systems.
- Assist with general administrative tasks including filing, correspondence and document management.
- Maintain office presentation and reception areas.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure continuity of services.
- Escalate operational or staffing concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
About You
You are friendly, organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service. You enjoy problem-solving, have excellent attention to detail and are comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in reception, administration or rostering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A high level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using rostering or scheduling software.
- Experience handling cash (desirable).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience in the disability, health or community services sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
