We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our agile team at Springfield Doctors in Springfield Central, QLD.

Our medical reception team are responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical practitioners. This is an important role that contributes to the overall efficient operation of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner

Schedule appointments, both in-person and via telephone

Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry

Assist with medical billing and invoicing

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

Provide general administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

Experience using Best Practice software or similar program

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service





Proficient in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Flexible and adaptable with the ability to priorities tasks and work well under pressure

Able to open and close the Practice
