We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our BrisbaneCommercial Litigation team for an Associate or Senior Associate.Working with a close-knit and inclusive team, you will work in abroad variety of commercial litigation matters covering disputes inthe infrastructure & mining, consumer markets, regulatory, realestate, transport and government sectors.
Responsibilities
- Draft advices, pleadings and prepare matters forhearing
- Attend witness conferences and prepare affidavits andwitness statements
- Brief senior and junior Counsel
- Appear in directions hearings and conferences
- Prepare for and attend court and mediations
- Mentor graduates, summer clerks and junior lawyers
- Assist with business development and marketinginitiatives
Requirements
- At least 3+ years PQE in a reputable commercial litigationteam with experience across a broad range of commerciallitigation matters
- Commercial approach and experience dealing with complextransactions
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
